The Nitto EC-200 series is a flame-retardant foam sealing material with a semi-independent and semi-continuous bubble structure. It is a low VOC type foam sealing material made by foaming EPDM rubber into a semi-independent and semi-continuous bubble foam sealing material. Available in various types with adhesive backing, it retains its soft characteristics, and by adjusting its compression ratio, it can be used for waterproofing, airtightness, sound insulation, and thermal insulation.
Low VOC foam sealing material with flame-retardant properties. The foam layer of EC-200 has been UL-94 HBF flame retardant certified.
Low stress during compression, easily compressible, tightly adhering to uneven surfaces of the adhered material, providing excellent airtightness and sound insulation.
Good heat resistance, weather resistance, and ozone resistance, maintaining its appearance even after long-term use and causing minimal pollution to the adhered material.
